Email From Maybank said Account Problem (Blocked) is Phishing

If you got an email with the subject “Account Problem (Blocked)”, do not open them.

You must know that every email that you received from Online Banking is just an information. If there is need to respond an email such as this “account problem (blocked)” where you need to respond, just ignore them.

This is because Bank Officer will contact you directly if is really a problem with your account.

And most online banking are now using secure email within their customer account.

Below is the email body of the Phishing Maybank2u website :

Dear Valued Customer,

We discovered a serious security problem in your account as several unauthorized transactions were attempted. We deactivated and also restricted access to your account for security and safety reasons. Your urgent attention is required to reactivate your account. Please be informed that your account will be terminated if not activated now.

www.maybank2u.com.my

Again, Do Not Respond To such email.
